About the Class

This a great way to learn how to throw on the potters wheel in focused classes. This 5-week course will cover the basics of making a pot from a ball of clay, throwing a cylinder, then moving onto a bowl, finally trimming and glazing your pieces. This course is suitable for both complete beginners and those who have a little previous experience.

The cost of the class includes all materials and you will be able to fire and glaze your best 6 pots. It is possible to buy extra to keep on the course. We offer each student a potter’s wheel, the studio stoneware clay and 10+ stoneware glazes.

Please ensure you can make every class, unfortunately, there isn't the opportunity to make up missed sessions.

All classes are for adults only and a maximum of 6 people. Students and teachers are required to wear a mask for the duration of a class.

Evenings 6.30-8.30pm.
