About the Class

Ideal for the complete novice these classes are a chance for all to have a play, learn more about pottery, and gain practical experience of working on the potter's wheel.  The beginner will be guided through the steps with a demonstration of techniques before having a go yourself. Your best two pots will be finished, fired twice and glazed in the studio-speckled white for you to collect later. This 2-hour taster session serves as a great introduction to ceramics and includes all materials. 

These group classes are for adults only and a maximum of 8 people, with each student having sole use of a potter's wheel. You have the option of firing more pots for £5 per extra piece.

About the Teachers

These classes are taught by a Jess Jos Pottery team member who are all full-time professional potters.

All classes are taught at our studio on Stepney City Farm, London, E1 3DG

Cancellation Policy

A full refund can only be given within 14 days from the initial date of booking. You can reschedule your class provided I am given at least 7 days' notice before your class date. Regrettably, I am unable to change any bookings if LESS than 7 days' notice is given.
